Greetings!

Hello all! I am indeed new to this board, and looking forward to sharing some fun and some inspiration, while being encouraged in kind. I am a 55 yr old mom of 4 adult children and four grandchildren. My husband and I are married 32 years, and we share a quiet home these days with one small dog, an art studio full of in-process works, and a Harley which we enjoy riding when the weather is good. I work at a church in central California as administrative secretary, and I write many things for my job including encouraging short pieces for my monthly newsletter. I blog some of these, but not regularly enough. My latest online discovery is Pinterest.com, which takes too much of my time! My dream is to write the story of my former daughter in law's cancer journey, which ultimately took her home to heaven at age 24. Blessings to you all!

Hi mwelch, I guess I'm still "new" here but it doesn't feel like it. I'm a lot like you but I'm 66 and Huggy (Hubby) and I have two little dogs and no grandkids.

I've always enjoyed writing and have written for a number of scrapbooking and hobby magazines, etc.

You will enjoy it here, I feel sure of that!
