Channels

Channels

Stuck inside are feelings that are forming,
thoughts that are developing,
words to be spoken and
desires to be fulfilled.
Each of which are growing and developing into a masterpiece.

These make for moments of agony because of the pent up mural
in my heart and mind.
And why is it that I continue to hold on to such a work of art?
This mural can be a thing of beauty to treasure.
The feelings, thoughts, words and desires are forever captured
by my heart and mind, but
self-gratification takes over and urges all to be revealed.
The unrelenting selfless love is the greater factor that also
pushes for revelation.
Love must escape and is channeled through
expressed feelings,
thoughts in action,
spoken words and
fulfilled desires.

I am collecting all of my treasures for you my love.
As we grow together, a beautiful mural is being painted in my
heart and mind.
When moments come that are right,
I will express the feelings that are forming,
I will put my thoughts into action,
I will speak the words that are on my heart and
I will fulfill the desires that continue to grow.
I will have a life time to share this treasure in my heard and
know that it will only get more and more beautiful.
I love you, for you complete me.

I liked the use of 'mural' got a visual from that.
"Each of which are growing and developing into a masterpiece"
A masterpiece in progress is how I referred to my fiance today as she was feeling a bit disheartened and asked:"what's wrong with me?"

Very lovely poem. Rhyming is good but I also love non rhyming verse very much. Thanks for sharing. All glory to the Father.
