It Only Takes a Moment

It only takes a moment
To whisper a little prayer
Asking God's blessings
On those for whom you care.

Glory be to God,
Thanks be to God,
Christ Jesus,
Holy one of God,
have Mercy on me,
a sinner.

Amen.

I wish I could do that!
I'm just a writer of prose
My verse would make you dose

LOL! When I finished reading, I thought wait where is the rest. So I re-read it. Then I thought wow this is cool, but where is the rest. Then I thought wow this is good. It makes me re-read and re-read so that it soaks in. And YES we all, I must remember to lift those up in pray with whom I care. Thanks for this poem!!!!!

I wanted to keep it simple just like the simplest prayer. There are times when my prayers have been one word, "Help".

"Jesus,
it's Anthony,
Anthony,
it's Jesus"

Ohhh, I remember a story like that from Jimmy Swaggart...

That's right Thena, read it in a story but it was "Jimmy", loved it !

I even told the story on a sharing night at church. What a wonderful story!
