I finally hear, so crystal clear, God's never-ending grace

It took so long to see the song that led me to this place

A melody, written just for me, I feel the beautiful sound

Another chance, another dance, as I sway from lost to found...


A slow drum roll quietly stirred my soul

My search for the source had me climbing from my hole

A soothing flute, a lyre, brought me further from the fire

Sharp notes from a harp had me climbing ever higher

Chimes chimed as I climbed, the music echoed in my mind

A distant trumpet played Taps as I left the world behind

A piano played my past, each key places I had been

and a lone violin had forgiven me my sin

As I climbed from my hole, as I was free, who did I see?

It was the Author of Life, and he said he wrote this song for me

I love this piece, the last line sums it all up beautifully!
I could almost hear this being read with a violin playing in the background, such a lovely sound. Keep 'em coming. :)
