| Our hearts are like flowers
and we should treat them as such
They need to be tended to gently
with a sincere touch
Our words give them light
and our thoughts are the rain
and if we let either grow cold
we'll only bring our hearts pain
Words of love can do our hearts no wrong
Like a flower in the sun...growing vibrant and strong
Thoughts of goodwill can chase away our hearts gloom
Like a flower in the rain...ready to blossom and bloom
But if we feed our heart anger, we'll always reap what we've sown
Like a flower in a snowstorm...it dies cold and alone |
