Thank you God for friends
That we have not met
But who we trust enough to share
Not only our verses of praise for You
But our requests for prayer.

Thank You for those to whom
You've given a gentle heart and spirit
Along with such a listening ear
That when You speak in the stillness
They are in tune enough to hear it.

Thank you for every talent
That You have given
And for those we love already
But will not get to meet 'til Heaven.

What a sweet poem full of love. Friends are such a special gift. I love the way started each stanza with "Thank you." Amen to that. All praise belongs to God.

Even though I have never met any of you, I feel I know each of you from your writings and comments. I don't think I will ever have enough friends so am proud to call each of you friend. Much love.
