I would like to share some thoughts on why I think many people in general struggle with weight loss.
With some considerations of course, I think it's just not knowing what they are eating.
It is surprising to me how many aren't aware of the insideousness of genetically engineered ingredients in the food.
I am no Doctor, and have no formal training in the health field, but the topic of study for me has been consistant and ongoing.
There are many studies on the effects of genetically engineered food fed to lab mice available online.
The results are shocking and disturbing.... Certainly not a substance we should be eating!
If you were to read labels you would see one or more of the major GMO ingredients in that product.
Someone who wants to lose weight and eats only salad, can't seem to accomplish her goals. Why?
Most likely the salad dressing is made with canola oil, which is one of the main bad ones.
They are now creating GMO sugar beets, potatoes, alfalfa, and many more foods
So some packaged foods are now getting a double or even triple shot of.. high fructose corn syrup, sugar and soy.
That's just the tip of the iceberg on this stuff...Once you eat it, when it gets to your gut, it turns back into a herbacide.
Personally, that's why I think diabetes and cancer are at epidemic rates today.
If you just do some research, you will find a lot of information. Jeffrey Smith is a big voice out there, and shares videos on his site "Seeds of deception". There is even a GMO avoidance list to print
If you've struggled with weight loss, try an elimination diet...It just may be the Gmo's in your food.
The bad guys to avoid
1) Corn/syrup
2)Soy
3)Canola
4) Cotton seed oil
Try eating nothing but organic food for 1 month, and see what happens.
Obviously avoiding the yummy dreaded starches and yes, there are plenty of organic chips and cookies, but using the same diet rules could see results.
I will just speak from experience when I say If my husband and I go away for a vacation, and visit a home where non organic or GE food is served, I can be certain we return home with extra weight, and sore joints.
Hope this helps somebody :)
There's probably a ton of typos and grammer issues, but if I edit everything, posting will take me forever.
I'll pick over it like a vulture for an hour
