Goofy and the Spook

There was a time when I was down
My spirits were very low
So I prayed to God to lift me up
And somehow let me know
That I was not alone out there.

So He sent me Goofy and the Spook
Making sure I was not alone
Through the darkest night and brightest day
They felt it to the bone
The love we shared.

They were wild at first
And didn’t trust a soul
But I was there and behold
I was the one with the feed bowl
Now we are fast friends.

I know what you mean. God sent us a little doggie when I was having a difficult time at work and he was such a blessing for a number of years.

We have Tippy and Taffy now and they are so sweet.

So thankful God sent you your blessings.

God is so good. He cares about all our hurts. By the way, food has that effect on me too.

Sometimes we need comfort food, sometimes its actual food, sometimes its food for the soul. It was two little kittens. Tried to get the words on the picture but couldn't pull it off.
