“Now, about spiritual gifts my daughter, I do not want you to be ignorant. No one who has the spiritual gifts can be against Jesus, and therefore anyone who is for Jesus has the spiritual gift. There are different kinds of gifts, but by the same spirit. Also, different kinds of service, but to the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works in all of them, in all men.”

As a ray of light, God’s word found me in the night.
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you, I have called you by name, you are mine. When you go through waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown!” Isaiah 43:1-2
I began to seek His will for my life…
“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for your welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” Jeremiah 29:11
I took a step out in faith…
Many times we’ll come to the edge of faith in our own lives. We aren’t sure where things are headed. There is risk in stepping out in faith. Who will you trust? Will you trust the Lord with ALL your heart? Or will you falter? What if your wrong? Could this really be God telling you to step out in faith?
I learned the 80/20 ratio…
If we will do the 80% of God’s will that makes itself clear in the Bible, and in Jesus’ living testimony; Our Father will reveal to you the missing 20% that is not clear. In other words, love your neighbor, spend time with God’s people, spend time in God’s word, talk to God in prayer, Love your family, protect the way you speak to people, be kind in your relationships, be patient. And the greatest of these is LOVE.
I began to study…
Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. Jesus teaches that the Will of God for all of us is harmony, peace and joy, and that these things are to be attained by cultivating the right thoughts or righteousness. Philippians 4:8 says “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.”
I became weak, began to falter…
BE PATIENT… Evil thoughts would like to convince you that you can’t help yourself… “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:13 It is not easy to discipline your mind, when it has in past, been allowed to wander. Discipline is being willing to turn away from every lie and every deception that evil offers. It means being willing to say “I was wrong” It means instead of only listening to what we want to hear, we listen for what we need to hear.
I gave it away!
You can give God your nothingness, your fears, your insecurities… Give them to God and watch Him go to work on your behalf. All you have to do is have faith in Him and believe His word, He will do the rest!
“Everything is possible for him who believes.” Mark 9:23
I delight in God’s Faithfulness
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5
