| MADE FROM CLAY By Jan Phillips I don’t know why I’m like I am Only God would know. He put me through His tests of time And stood me on my own. He stands beside me each and every day To make sure I don’t fail To give Him all the praise and glory For the blessing He has bestowed. But I am only human, So I fail him all the time. I just can’t seem to get it right No matter how hard I try. I must pray for forgiveness Many hours of each day; And hope He understands I am like I am because He made me this way.

| So true. The beauty of it? In other people's eyes, and even our own sometimes, what is seen is the stumbles, failures, flaws, whatever, but in God's eyes, we are perfect. Great poem. Word. |

Amen! A very important point to remember. He does love us the way we are, because in His eyes we are spotless because of the blood of Jesus, and He is always working us like a potter with his clay. |
