My Puppy Surfs the Web

My pup is on the internet
She surfs the web each day
I have to check her Facebook page
To see what she wants to say.
She signed up on some message boards
Using my board ID
And now the folks on those groups
Think that she is me!
She shops a lot at Pets are Us
And Amazon as well
But hubby says she spends less than I
So he doesn’t want me to tell.

My Cat sat on a Cactus

My cat sat on a cactus
But he didn't stay there for long;
He made a awful screeching sound
And then he was gone.
He now knows better
Than to get too close again-
You might say his love for cactus
Has come to a screeching end!

The Puppy Puddle Incident

I'm just a little pup
And there was an accident
Which is known around the house
As the Piddle Incident.
I didn't mean to do it
But I was so delighted
To see the kids home from school
That I got over excited.
I didn't make it to the doggie door
Or the pee pad on the floor
But left a little trail of pee
For all those coming in to see.
But soon it was all forgotten
And I had hugs galore
I just hope they still love me
When they go to the back door…

On the way to Grammy's

We're on the way to Grammy's house
To celebrate with her and Pops.
Mom made me wear her sweater gift,
And the itching never stops!
The colors really aren't bad,
And the design is fairly cool
But to make kids wear wool-
To me seems downright cruel.
The trip in the car was very long
But I itched too much to sleep
which gave me new compassion
For all of those flocks of sheep!

I Wrote Some Funny Poems

I wrote some funny poems
I wrote them in my dreams
But when morning came
They weren’t really funny, it seems...

My words seemed so brilliant
Just hours before I awoke
I marveled at how humorous
Were the words I spoke.

My rhymes were so awesome
Each syllable a sparkling delight
At least they seemed that way to me
As I slept throughout the night.

Morning has a way of showing us
The truth of what seemed so cool
And even though we need to know
Sometimes it does seem cruel.

LOLOL, Hilarious. I love animal humor. It's my favorite. I remember itchy grandma sweaters. I wish they were still making them for me.

Enjoyed each one, very silly, crafty, sly and clever.
I used to have a real problem with itching as well but God somehow took care of that by Grace. He didn't stop there though...He's so awesome!
He fixed both of my knees, my back (herniated disc...not anymore) and just now not two minutes ago gifted just a bit more discernment to me didn't ask, he just did it.
I had a cat once, had to get rid of her...feral beyond redemption had to be put to sleep she had 3 kittens too, they were beautiful but this cat had devoured her own young at least several times before that. All were lost but two, all parented by her own father. The two were sold for a tidy little sum and adopted by a very loving minister and his wife.
Could never understand how a Mother could devourer her own newborns?

I think they'll do that if something is wrong with them, or if they feel they aren't likely to survive for some reason. Sad thing, that is. Just the way nature works I guess. It isn't always pretty.
