Mom's on a diet
Be careful where you tread
Mom' s on a diet
We may not be fed!

Mom is getting hungry
I could tell it right away
Mom is getting hungry
She's been dieting all day!

Mom is on a diet
And I won't say that she's cross
But she does keep muttering
About how many pounds she lost.

She claims the scale must be wrong
And that her food is out to get her
She says the folks at Starbucks
Will probably all forget her!

Mom is on a diet
And if today is any indication
She may forget the diet
And ask for medication!

LOL, Your poem reminds me of when my mother would go on a diet. All of a sudden we had to eat things that we didn't like and we didn't dare say anything about it. Now that I'm a mom, I completely understand.
