I am a self publishing Christian writer. I live in the lovely North West part of the USA. I have been writing about 15 years.

Gee....I don't know what else to say, except I am looking forward to hanging out (in the forum) with other writers.

Self publishing is not difficult. I created my own publishing company and named it Golden West Publishing. I looked on the Internet, and no one had the domain name, so I got it and then created a website to sell my ebooks from.

What I didn't realize was that there already existed a Golden West Publishing, they just weren't on the Internet. I don't know where in the real world they are... but every once in a while I get emails in which the person obviously thinks I am the OTHER publishing company. They probably hate me that I grabbed the domain name before they did...but that is life....

Many expensive things can just be skipped. Like expensive blocks of ISBN numbers. Unless you plan to really market against the established publishing business, you don't need an ISBN number.

This forum is fun, and I have lots to talk about!
