When it rains, it pours...and my pain ignores

the healing of the sunshine and the life it restores

Spiritual...mental...emotional wars

in the ocean of my soul, on my heart's deserted shores

My mind strays and explores, my spirit prays as it soars

and like a lion I roar beyond imaginary doors

My pain for his...his pain for yours

for we are all the chosen few that the Lord adores
