I’m an Imperfect Child of God

I have so many imperfections.
I am so far from being
The person God wants me to be,
And the depth of my imperfections
God alone can see!
But with all that is wrong with me,
And all the sins I must confess,
Of all those who still love me,
It is God who loves me best!
He loves me when I struggle,
And when I stumble or I fall,
He still loves me when I am in trouble
And on His Name I call.
There is nothing I can do to deserve it,
However, I can in faith proclaim,
That God above loves me as His child,
And I proudly wear His Name.
With my whole being,
I will love Him until I die
And go to live with my Heavenly Father
Forever and ever in the sky.

Amen! So thankful we have a Heavenly Father so full of grace.

Took me a very long time to understand and truly get this message, maybe someone browsing ("lookee-loo", borrowed this from a friend) will read this and get it quicker and sooner than I did and possibly be spared a lot of pain.
