Letter from Daddy

My daddy loves me very much
But he had to go away
But he writes to us and thinks of us
Each and every day.
He told me the day he left
That he would hold me in his heart
And even though he's not at home
In spirit we aren't apart.
He said his love will stay with me
And to do what Mommy says to do
So that she won't have to be all stressed
'Cause she misses Daddy too!
Daddy wrote me a letter
One of my very own
It's been hugged and kissed
And to everyone been shown.
It may seem silly to some folks
That with my letter I won't part
But to me that letter is like holding
The love from Daddy's heart!
