God gave me this day
To live for Him
Not to follow
Each worldly whim
It's hard sometime
To rise above it all
But I trust in God
Not to let me fall.
When I get sidetracked
And miss the mark
It's like an arrow
In my heart.
But I take it to God
The one for whom I'm living
For He is just, loving and always forgiving.
He forgives me when I call on His Name
Oft times before I forgive my shame
Of failing One who died for me.
I trust Him with all I am or will ever be.
And to provide for me through all eternity.
