Why I Live

Am I cursed or am I plagued?
Lord, can you help me find a way?
A way to leave this hurt behind
A way to ease my troubled mind
Where to turn, where to go
Are these things for me to know?
I hear You tell me do not fear
You whisper assurance in my ear
In my heart You continue to cry
You ask me where I've gone and why
I'm sorry God, for hurting You
I'm sorry for things i can't undo
My thoughts had gone from hope to fear
By thinking You are no longer near
Now I know it's Your nature to forgive
And this alone is why I live...
