I took them to places
saw things
I wished I hadn't

You took away my sins
renewed my heart
mended a vessel
that was cracked
it's no mistake...
you left these eyes
intact

Crosses around necks
the size of anchors
Big Faith?
Big Belief?
Bigger is better?!

Sportin' it
like an accessory
when every other word
out of their mouths'
is blasphemy
it's even common to be said
on t.v.

but anger is wrong

in a living heart...

I was thinking the other night about how we can't "unsee" or "unhear" things but
God can take the worst of it and use it for good as we share what we have learned with others.
