God bless this brand new year
And all of the people we hold dear.
Bless our country, our states and town
Bless the fruit of our trees and ground.
Bless our rivers and our streams
Mountains, valleys and in between.
Bless us with wisdom and truth
And let goodness blossom and take new root.
Bless our seniors and bless the youth of today
Bless them with joy and loving words to say.
Bless the babies so sweet and fresh from You
Bless the sunshine and the morning dew
That reminds us every single day
That these are blessings that You've sent our way.
