To look out at the sky
During the peak of Dawn
All the colours vivid and alive
Gives us the motivation to continue on

To hear the thunder roar
While lightening flashes about
Rain coming down
Crescendo moments
Conveying almost a shout

The beauty of the sun
In all seasons combine
A welcoming joy
A friend of mine

Each living thing
Whether a flower or creature be
It has God's essence in it
The same applies for you and me

In church or in nature
In a group or alone
You pray and embrace
Praise
Your Faith and Spirit
What you have learned and known

Reflect and reach out
Be positive and share
Be truthful and thankful
Show you care

Think about what things
That will make you even better
Ascertain and define your calling
Your life's spiritual desires
Then and only then
Hallelujah
You will come to experience
Understand

My new favorite of yours! Love the way there is a lesson/inspiration in everything if we just recognize it.


When we pray for inspiration, we have to be prepared for it to come and be able to recognize it.

I was invited to speak at our church and on the way home I asked God to give me the words to say. All of a sudden all of these thoughts came flooding in while I was on the San Diego/Coronado Bay Bridge. I found myself saying "Lord, please wait a minute until I get home!" lol

Did He wait? God's time isn't our own. Love it!

Love the way this poem was crafted and put together. It mixes the beauty of God's creation with a loving nudge of encouragement to all of His people. Great work!

Don't tell me you had God tapping his toes and looking at his watch...put countless prayer requests on hold till you could find a pen and pad...please tell me you didn't miss thena?!
