| Darkness, palpable, heavy, impenrtrable Drawn down into it's abiss Scrambling to retain sanity I scream at nothing, everything, everyone, no one No one hears, what is not sounded For I am silent, caught within myself Unable to vocalize what is going on inside My personal monster, constantly with me No one sees, not many know How tightly depression holds But my faith is stronger And I continue in spite of my feelings I will not be defeated When victory holds my hand |

| Pondering this one for awhile.
We are taught to hide our problems and get so good at it that we can sometimes seem to hide them from ourselves. Sometimes we quietly share and the world doesn't hear us because they only hear the shouting. |

| Praise God for that. AND He has a way of letting people know who need to know.

| I'm REALLY starting to love you guys and gals. We admit our problems and most of the world (the church?) says we'll pray for you, but do they really, or just roll over and go back to sleep. But one learns alot reading their printed work, and that binds this group tightly, and I like that. Blessings |

| when i say i'll pray for someone, i don't do it on here...not usually. i stop what i'm doing and pray...lest i set it aside and forget, or answer the phone etc. that is something that should never be put off for a more convenient time. i have some ways that need correcting but i don't hold out prayer on a brother or sister in need, Amen? |

| My Sunday School teacher told us not to ask him to pray for us unless we were willing for him to stop right there and pray with us. I love that. |

| Prayer is the one thing nothing and nobody can stop. It also happens to be the action that makes the christian the most feared adversary of satan. "When momma prays, heaven pays attention. The angels spread their wings and stand prepared." What a powerful statement. A pretty good song also. And no, defeat is not an option. I WIN!!! |

| It seems we have more than one person fighting depression, including me. Thankfully we have a savior that fights for us, because it's so suffocating to be going through that. With the way the economy is now, I can even feel it hovering over many people when I walk outside my door. My prayers are with you Carl. |
