| Looking in
The desires within drive away the rest and stillness They are hot and burning inside, and i sense them strong Where have they come from? my imagination or the image The image, the truest , purest, passionate form of who i am Streams and currents of inspiriting inspiration sweeping the fragile form Heart pounds rising, mind speeding almost numbingly and trance-like
Love, to love burns foremost, to be allowed to rule above all The most beautiful and most powerful, that renews while transforming Belief and hope wrestles next, to keep the fire of life glowing...flaming Firmly convinced of the goodness and ability of all that is True and Light Mastering the inhibitions is present too, some justified, others not Some are welcome, others will pass, have to fade and be gone, Be Gone
Allowing the mind and spirit feast on images of loveliness, and truthfulness Taking mental trips to beautiful and tranquil places the feet have not been yet Musing on the only words that can speak calm to the disturbance and disorderliness Quiet down in the Comforter of comforters, and seek the unequaled Presence of the Creator,of the Shaper, of God. |

| After reading this, I thought to myself for sometime, thinking that what I just read was truly art. To be able to take words and create something as beautiful as this is simply amazing. I have always been a straight to the point person. In the past If I could shorten a statement I would. (i.e If I was meaning to say to my wife) Honey you are gorgeous, you're make up is placed just right, your dress fits you perfectly and you are the smartest person I know. It would come out like this. (you look good). Well after I read this it inspired me to look up poetry forms. There are a lot of different things you can do with words to make them shine. I think I will dabble. Thank you God Bless |

| I'm so glad the poem has made some worthwhile difference; that's what i hope for. @ chapter 2, : ) I mostly prefer the ' free verse' style, because to me it has little to no formal restrictions, thats what i expect when it comes to true free expression of heart and mind. I do prefer the message in poetry to be understandable by most people and clear to me, and in some cases to the point; one powerful/effective word can do that. In other cases its challenging to put in one word what I am trying to say so I can describe it...it also helps and depth to what is said. |

| I'm a poetry junky, so I love clarity in poetry, but a poem that is not so clear can dazzle me with it's beautiful words. Some of my favorite lines from your work:
Streams and currents of inspiriting inspiration sweeping the fragile form
Mastering the inhibitions is present too, some justified, others not Some are welcome, others will pass, have to fade and be gone, Be Gone
Musing on the only words that can speak calm to the disturbance and disorderliness Quiet down in the Comforter of comforters, and seek the unequaled Presence of the Creator,of the Shaper, of God. |

| This is a beautiful piece that really speaks to me. My favorite lines were: "Allowing the mind and spirit feast on images of loveliness, and truthfulness Taking mental trips to beautiful and tranquil places the feet have not been yet Musing on the only words that can speak calm to the disturbance and disorderliness Quiet down in the Comforter of comforters, and seek the unequaled Presence of the Creator,of the Shaper, of God."
There are many uses for words and sometimes stirring a pot is required to make a good stew. To temper steel it must be thrown back into the fire. To be still, is sometimes the most powerful form of expression. St. Francis of Assissi made a bold statement simply by walking through town with his followers . When his father first disowned him and stripped of all he had given him, St. Francis stripped off his clothes as well and walked away through town naked, disinherited, to live a life of service to the needy took up residence in a cave. His only concern was his Love for the Lord and caring for the needy, eventually he had many followers and founded Franciscan friars. Sometimes What's rallied and railed against gives passion, fire to something new and lovely, needed, alive. Death and passion can't co-exist.
This is the most beautiful piece I've read on this site, can't deny it, it is an undeniable convicting expression of The voice of true love it self.
Peter learned, sometimes it takes the lopping off of an ear (passion), crow of a rooster (fear) before one may truly hear. who had been listening intently, passionately still missed some of the message. One who walked in the presence of the Lord and still fell short, still sank, before he fully 'got it'. Earlier this year I started buying birdseed and feeding the birds. I marveled at how beautiful they were up close and the fact that they would sing to me when they finished eating. A strange thing happened, beautiful wildflowers began to appear in my backyard in patches. Nothing I'd planted myself but wished I had. The birds...my friends brought them to say thank you...it was a gift. Like this beautiful piece (poem) shared among friends, even the ones we can't always understand and seem somewhat extreme but who Love the Lord nonetheless.
