Noah (autobiogaphy)

My son Noah, 13, one of his first poems, an assignment for school, autobiographical.
Love the last line about the tree.

Noah,
Loving, caring, giving, and smart,
Brother of Evan and Chelsea,
Lover of football, ice cream, and family,

Who feels sadness when you lose someone you love,
Excitement when you get on the
Football field, joy when you’re with your family

Who needs your parents, sports, and a home
Who gives inspiration, support, and toys to the poor
Who fears losing something close to you
Heights and the end of the summer
Who would like to see earth from space
The pyramids and the world’s largest tree

Who lives in one of the only two story houses on Samoset St
And has a baby tree
Just trying to grow big

Absolutely love it!

Noah is a poet
And like that little tree
He will grow up mightily
To be what God wants him to be.
People will read his poems
As he writes throughout the years
Laughing at the funny ones
And with others shedding tears.
Will he see the earth from space
This I do not know
Only that with his loving heart
He will go where God wants him to go.
His love for family will serve him well
As he writes about his day
Providing him with happy things
In his work to say.
God bless Noah as he writes
And keep him in your care
Bless him with your joy and peace
And Your words let him share.
