I heard my darling say
And then with his teddy bear
He ran outside to play....
How much I thought?
Oh you cannot begin to know;
Even if I tried
To tell you so!
You know the joy
Of finding caterpillars in the Spring
And the happiness that
A new toy can bring....
You know how much fun
It is to go play
With a brand new friend
And stay all day...
Do you remember on Christmas
How you exclaimed in delight
At all of the packages
So colorful and bright...
Think back to the fireworks
On the fourth of July
(I remember the joy
That I saw in your eyes!)
Think of all the wonderful
Things that you know
How you love the sunshine in summer
And in the winter the snow...
And then my little one
Come and ask me again
And mommy will have a place
When she can begin....

How Much Do You Love Me Father

I don't even have to ask
But to look upon the cross
And see Jesus there
arms stretched out wide
As He hung there suffering
As He was crucified
He loved me so much
That for me He died
It is because He loves us so much
That we know how to love others
As He blesses us with the privilege
Of being fathers and mothers.
How much do I love Him
More than I could ever express
For He is the author and finisher of my faith
The giver of all joy and happiness
To Him I owe any taste i might have of success
For all things in the world, I love Him best!
