Night Love!

Sometimes I'd just be happy to wait before going to bed or stay awake at night, just to do one thing:
To look out through the window and think this through:
"surely there's a God that doesn't sleep and his eyes are fixed on me even now -yes now!"
Oh I love that!
Now I can be like him. How?
I can fix my eyes on someone else other than myself!
That makes his love go round, I know.
So I'm thinking... who???
Found it!
Guess you'll ask, "so who?"
"None of your business", I'll say.
Just find yours - Jesus died for the whole world!
Have a love-filled day ahead!

That is an awesome thought, one that I often tell myself to remind myself just how close our Lord really is to us. Sometimes, I visualize Him sitting in the room right next to me.

I'll tell you about a Pastor friend. This happpened about 1 month ago, so it should thrill you! He saw Jesus! Not in a dream, not by vision - He was manifested! He was in his room, I mean this pastor, and He simply walked in... Guess what? While my Pastor narrated this other pastor's experience, I was keen to find out if he was lying. I knew that if he really saw Jesus, then there's something characteristic of Him that He'll do or say. Then and only then will I believe that he saw Jesus. So, Jesus walked in. The atmosphere changed! The pastor couldn't possibly think of how He walked in. Then He began to speak to him, telling him his disgust for Pastors who don't preach or teach the gospel anymore but have the minds occupied with 'other things'. But as He spoke, two things happened to the pastor: 1. He was not only listening but he also saw flashes of lightning, heard rows of thunder all around Him. 2. He reportedly said, "two things were going on within me. A part of me wanted to run and cleave to Jesus (spirit, I believe), another part drew me back (flesh). I could say I was almost torn apart, but I wasn't! Then the Lord was done, and seemed to turn on his way out, and right then this pastor began to THINK... 'what has this got to do with me'... (he also 'thought of' some other things I can't remember now). Then... (this was how I confirmed he saw Jesus) Jesus TURNED SHARPLY, and SAID something like, "Yes! It has everything to do with you! (he also said some other things to explain to the pastor that I can't remember now). "This surprised me, how could He know what I was thinking? It was as if I spoke out loud to him", the pastor said. When He was done, He turned again to leave, but the pastor saw that as He took steps upon steps, and for every step there was a verse of scripture! e.g right foot for Galatians 2:20, the left for Isaiah 9:6, then another and another! Come on! That's Jesus! He is the Word - John 1:1! Do you also remember what God told Samuel in I Sam 16:7b? God knows out heart - the thoughts! Even when we think, we speak out loud to Him! That's the end of his testimony. He's about town doing what the Lord asked of him, and I also want to purchase an audio cd record of this testimony he narrated in my church. What do you think about the Jesus?

That's a very profound question Ola: "What do you think about the Jesus?" Where do I begin? I think Jesus is the one and only true Living God, He's my comforter, redeemer, the lover of my soul, my everything. Without Him I would be utterly lost or dead, most likely dead and not in a very good place. I believe He has manifested Himself to many people all over the world, and that when he rose from the grave and ascended into heaven it wasn't the last time He would come to visit His people in person.

Just like Moses under the law, he said "I'll go further to see for myself this mystery", so I ask: Who will say, "I'll go further to see for myself this mystery of how God became a man!" I say so! I'm doing so! Who else?

I say so! I'm knowing so! I'm doing so! Who else?

I agree with Lori about who Jesus is. This is beautiful. People forget that Jesus commands their breathing and if He said stop they would. What an awesome God we serve.

Amen! With Jesus, there's not just one side to Him. We will never get board discovering the majesty and greatness of our Lord. Thank goodness, because when the Lord should command that my breathing cease, I will have all of eternity to discover all of His awesome ways.
