A Godly Man

Good and upright; firmly grounded
to his base; foundation of His creation
No one is perfect. A humble man knows
that; full of grace. A blessed man shows
that; disciple of the hidden; truth
Thirst forever quenched; drinking from His
watering well, eating the food most eat
Few digest; eternalize, eternal life; doing the will Of Him who sent. An instructor to the foolish
Teaching what has been taught
To him in knowledge and truth

Bare witness to the light; essentials
Of an upward plight--- glory, honor
Provider, protect-her
Womb of a Queen; his seed; longevity
Of his roots. Hear Zion croon
A God fearing man leaves behind a legacy
For those who dare follow
Follow the footsteps of a God fearing man; humbled success’
And highly favored blessings
Of a family who loves him dearly
A younger half who loves him most

Dance, my friend, dance
Effortlessly to the heavens
Farewell, young brother
May your energy fall on the righteous
To help those unrighteous

Beautiful. I'm sure you're poem is a comfort to those who are mourning. I really loved these lines:

Did you frame a copy for them? It will be something they will treasure.

Thanks you all. i didn't get a chance to frame it. I desinged it and sent it to them because I'm in a different city than they are, sadly.

I'm sure it blessed them and was a comfort to them.
