Rainbow

Heading down the road today
Little sun, clouds on the way
A little sprinkle here and there
That heaviness of rain in the air
And there it was, not one but two
Of the biggest rainbows
Seen through and through
One over the other
As though to protect
It for a special reason
I pondered with my wife
The wonders of a mighty God
And the blessings in our life
Then I said."Hey, can you see?"
The lower rainbow, running through the trees
Till it stood right in our path
And showered the truck with it's brilliant light
I looked at Kat and she said,"That's right"
We just ran through a rainbow,
Like God was telling us
He blessings are for the catching
If we chase hard after Him, becuz
It is His desire
For us to be close to Him
And what is in store for those who love Him
In our imagination
WE CAN'T EVEN BEGING
to fathom

Carl, that happened to me just once in my life on I-40 between crossville and knoxville going through the mountains of tenn. it was amazing!! the light was everywhere in the truck and on my face! i didn't think it possible!

Wow! What an awesome experience. I especially love the way you expressed it in your work. I could almost see it myself.

I love rainbows! We saw some special ones in Alaska that I will never forget.
