One Must Bathe Their Pups...

You must bathe your puplets
Even though they may protest
For snuggling up next to you
Is what they love the best.
And a dirty smelly puplet
Is not a desirable trait
Therefore to bathe and groom them
You must not hesitate.
They may give you those sad puppy eyes
And even though they look so cute
You must be really strong
And wash their little furry suit!
It may make them pout a little bit
But please, not to worry
Once they are all nice and dry
They will once more be warm, soft and furry!

Bath Time for Puplets

Taffy says:
While I like a tummy rub
I sincerly dislike the tub.
I hate the shower almost as much
But I do enjoy a nice soft touch
Upon my tiny little head
When its time to go to bed!
So with this trauma
Up with it I will put
Because I'm just an adorable mutt!

Tippy says:
I saw poor Taffy soaking wet
It's a sight I won't forget
Wet from her cute nosey
To her knee
And then I knew
They were coming for me
And that is when
I tried to flee...

Together:
We are two cute little puplets
Who never make a fuss
And we don't understand
Why they pick on us!
They called us stinkey and smelly too
But that's our nature-
It's nothing new!

We love you both
Indeed, it’s true
But doggie parents must do
What they must do
To let your sweet puppy fragrance
Come shining through
Instead of a dirty puppy smell
Even though your friends would never tell
Or hint that it was time for a scrub
That demands a trip to shower or tub!

ha ha ha all four of mine hate it till they're in it, then they don't want to come out!

I'm as wet as the two of them at the moment. LOL

All our dogs have always disliked the water. Our poodle would walk on the beach beside the water and never get her feet wet. When she went to the pampered pooch to get groomed she wanted everyone to tell her how pretty she was down to her pink toe nails.

Animals are like humans we dread doing something and then after we do it we wonder why we dreaded it at all.
