The 6th Sense.

Humans possess 5 senses i.e Sight, Touch, Hearing, Smell, & Taste.

1. Sight
Organ-Eye
Quality-How Far & Clear.
God's word: "seeing, but not perceiving".
Jesus, walking on water, told Peter to come. Peter acted, but 'seeing' the storm... afraid... sink.

2. Hearing
Ear
How Clear.
God's word: "hearing but not understanding".
God asked Adam, 'Who told you you were naked?'
In other words "whom have you been 'listening' to?"

3. Touch
Skin
Dead/Alive?
God's word: "if I could touch his garment, I know I'll be made whole".
Thomas doubted Jesus' ressurection saying, "unless I put my fingers where the nails were, I won't believe."

4. Smell
Nose
Signs.
Isaac blessed wrongly when he caught the smell of Esau's clothes, though worn by Jacob.

5. Taste
Tongue
Good or Bad?
God's word: "life & death in the power of the tongue".
Esau sold his birthright by 'eating & saying'.

6. Faith
Faith is putting all other Senses under its control! The 5 senses are Natural, Faith is Supernatural! Faith controls the Natural from the Spiritual. The 5 senses builds up Fear that leads to Death or Nothingness, Faith builds Belief that leads to God! Without Faith you can't please/have God/life, so Jesus says, 'Fear not, only Believe!'
Hanging out with the 5 senses means you are full of Death and its Associates because you've been corrupted by Sin and its Nature, but Hanging out with Faith means you are full of God because you've been purified by Jesus' Blood and His Righteousness!

yes, "the sixth sense" a young boy with e.s.p. who sees the walking dead (ghosts).
a metaphor for the living death (unsaved).

Wow I loved that, truly. And just the other day I was on the train into Portland and I felt like I was surrounded by dead people. Very awesome perspective, thanks for helping me think.
