We have a history
That noone else can understand
I've known him from a teen
To a dignified gray haired man.
I loved him in our teens
And as we aged together in wedded bliss
As we went into our lives as parents
Evolving from that first good night kiss.
I loved his wavy hair of black
And the cute dimple in his chin
And he says he loves the fluffy me
As much as when I was thin.
We've gone through good times
And hard times together
And I feel that our love is strong enough
To keep us together, whatever!

Young folks may think its silly
To marry when your steps are getting slow
And perhaps ponder to themselves
Just where this union will go.
Youth is sometimes wasted
On doing things we should not do
But when you know your time may be limited
It becomes very precious to you.
