THE ROBIN’S JOY
(joy – feelings of great happiness or pleasure, especially of an elevated or spiritual kind)

The robin sings in the morning full of joy and thanksgiving.
Man is full of sorrow and anger, jealousy, pride and deceit.
Yet, we were made in God’s image.
Why are surrender, love and joy so hard for man?
Why did You give us choice?
Why did You give us our own free will?

Preachers partially preach Your Word.
People turn their backs on family or people in need.
They want no part of You, Lord.
The world or lost people are out for themselves.
But is this how you wanted man to live?
No! No! No!

You wanted us to be full of Your light, Your joy, Your mercy.
You wanted us to love our neighbor as ourselves.
You wanted us to walk with You each and every day.
You wanted to commune with us as friend to friend,
You wanted us to know the joy of the Lord.
You wanted just a relationship with us because you loved us.

You are The Creator of the Universe.
Our great provider.

Your Only Begotten Son died on a cross for the sins of the world.
You left no stone unturned to restore fellowship with Your people.
How sad You must feel when man will not listen, seek, or try to find You.
Yet we do not pray without ceasing, listen for Your still small voice,
Or seek Your guidance and companionship for our lives.

Today may we study Your word, seek Your knowledge and ask forgiveness
so we may be like the robin full of joy and thanksgiving.
May we find Your Son, Jesus, reflecting His light, so His death was not in vain.
May we have a song of forgiveness, a song of love, and a song of peace in our hearts?
May how we act and what we do, spreading Your love to others, be pleasing to You and may we bless You, Lord all the days of our lives.

If only this was the perspective of the whole world, huh? Beautiful, I love the conviction along with the gentle guidance toward the true message. Read the Bible

Thank you. Following God is so simple but the world makes the most complicated thing to do.

It wasn't simple for me at all and for many who are still held captive to addictions, pain, hurt, abuse if they were never shown by example or if the example they had was contradictory to the walk they witnessed.
Once one is on the path (walk) then it seems really simple duh.
It's like telling someone who is going to the dentist for the very first time:"don't worry you'll only feel a slight pressure."
I caused and endured much pain and sorrow before i knew the joy of the Lord's embrace.

Beautiful message. I think I would have to agree with oneagleswings. It only seems easy once we are on the path. I remember feeling that "duhhhh" feeling after finally seeing the light.

"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mat. 11: 29-30

It's the taking of that yoke that can be difficult when we are so lost. Without the Holy Spirit to convict us, we all would be lost. Praise God that he does lead us and convict us. The Robins Joy 459784477

I remember praying one night with my mom as she led me to Jesus when I was about 7. I haven't been perfect but my faith kept me from that teenage and college rebellion. I'm so thankful for that sweet memory.

I remember praying with my mother at age 4. Then, I immediately ran to my best friends house next door and practically forced her to except Jesus. I couldn't imagine letting her go without Jesus. When I grew older, my mother told me that her mother was an atheist, and that there was probably a small chance she would have gotten saved otherwise.

Atheists are strange, i don't understand why they so adamantly openly opposed to something they don't believe exists? What's next faerieists?

I have been blessed to have very good mentors and parents. God was always a part of my life through good and bad. I know he has carried me through many things. I have story after story where God has guided my steps. These poems are from a happy time of life. I can assure you that when I held a small baby that was missing the radius bones I wondered why God blessed me with such a bundle of joy. On my blog I have written God's Vision. My son also has a blog that he is now writing about his life. We were told he would never write his name. I still have the piece of paper that he wrote his name for the first time. As God woke me up with God's Vision. He reminded that he saw a couple look up to him and cry help. His heart melted. I have a very strong faith because of where my path has been.

It takes WAAAAAYYYYY more faith to be an atheist then a follower of the Christ. My first debate point is always, "If God doesn't exist, then why do you fight HIM?"

Atheists are some of the loneliest people in the world. I once had a close college chum who was an atheist, and I asked him if he felt lonely because he couldn't believe there was a God. He said that he was and asked me how I was able to believe there was a God. That question opened up a dialog between him and me that may have never taken place because I showed him a little compassion.

I always wondered why people who don't believe there's a devil work so hard for him...

and people who don't believe there's a God fight so hard against Him.

The scary thing for them is that both sides believe in them.
