Creator and Sustainer

Our Holy, Sovereign, Omniscient God
He Alone brought everything into being
Creator and Sustainer of all that there is
He gives our lives dignity and meaning

Through His mercy and grace we believe
His Word feeds our heart, soul, and mind
His cleansing and sanctification we receive
Peace the world in its wisdom cannot find

A life absent of God yields only loneliness
Aimless days; dark nights spent in sadness
One covered by Jesus in His righteousness
Is forgiven, thankful, and full of gladness

Love the juxtaposition you demonstrate in the last stanza with the saved and unsaved:

A life absent of God yields only loneliness
Aimless days; dark nights spent in sadness
One covered by Jesus in His righteousness
Is forgiven, thankful, and full of gladness
