We Are All Different but Alike

All those who gather here are different
We found each other and this place
Drawn together by the Holy Spirit
Because we were saved by grace.

We search for others who love
And worship as we do
Others who proclaim to all who hear
That God's Word is true.

We love and encourage each other
And respect the gifts God gave each one
For though the gifts are varied
Each brings honor to the Son.

We need not wait until our gifts are perfect
Before we can bring them out to share
We just need to keep on learning
As our gifts with others we share.

Who knows what empty spot a soul holds
That our words of love might help fill
By speaking to them of our Savior
As we sit so quiet and still.

Bless us Father as we gather
Guide us with our sharing
with the lost you send our way
Ever diligent, ever mindful
That You could return today!
