Don't Believe Everything You Hear

Itching ears
We've been warned about them
Some folks still doubt them
And believe what sounds good
For that is what is easiest to do
Rather than to God's Word to be true...
Some come as false teachers-
Wolves in sheep's clothing
Stealing God's little lambs
And blaspheming the Great I AM.
Some come as politicians
Preaching in their own way
And leading the unsuspecting astray
With promises they can never pay
Leading them to their own judgement day.
Some come as teachers with false teaching
Geared to steer the unschooled
Into an abyss so deep
That only God can reach...
But it only takes the whisper of a prayer
For God to reach us-no matter where
