Where Is He? Empty
PostSubject: Where Is He?   Where Is He? EmptySat Apr 21, 2012 7:11 am

The Ola Olutayo Mail.
Today 21-4-12.

Where Is He?

In a comparative context, most life situations we find ourselves are like 'enclosures' or 'caves' where you've got a different, clumsy, and short-sighted 'world' that isn't like the world proper. However, I observed, that most of us run into such caves to rest and hide from the chaos outside. Our mindset about the world ouside is chaotic, loud, mighty or terrifying; and the inside world seemingly conforms.

So, where is he?

For those who know their God, there is a battle of identity (i.e. of God) that they endure - but many FAIL that battle.

I failed too.

As it is custom, I observed to study the scriptures.
Then I found out where God really is, nay, in all these things.

I Kings 19.

v2.
The Threat!
Failures, Lack, Dryness, Heart-breaks, etc.

vs3-4
The Escape!
Giving up, Falling & Refusing to Stand up again.

vs5-9
The Real Escape!
Rising, Refreshing, Returning.

vs11-12.
Nay, Where Is God?
God isn't where you'd expect to find him - Great, Heart-pounding, Mighty, Thundering - miracles or deliverance!

No!

He is IN a gentle and quiet whisper!

See:
He'll go to the cross even as a king, yet he'll not break open the door of your heart, but SIMPLY knock till YOU open.

He'll call, but won't speak until YOU say, 'Speak, your servant is listening'.

He'll divide a rage of waters into two, but not until YOU stretch forth a 'tiny, little' rod.

He authored salvation, and confined the wisdom of his writings in a 'most sold yet most neglected book in the world' - The Bible!

I urge you to go on, out of that cave you find yourself (because you'll be in one) and do like Elijah did:

HEAR that voice!
COVER your Great, Mighty Expectations of God!
ABIDE where you heard him.
Stay. Stay. Stay. Right There!

Then, surely, YOUR God, will himself orchestrate a dialogue between you both that changes your current to your entire situations for Good - It's not enough to See and Hear him, I told you, 'Stay. Stay. Stay' i.e. Worship. Worship. Worship.

3 things To Worship:
1. Fall Down For God.
2. Put Him Highest In Your Scale of Preference.
3. In your dialogue: Persistent Persuasion + Gentle Speech.

Find Out More!
Pick Up That Tiny, Little Bible (It contains God's gentle and quiet whispers you aint paying attention to).
Psalm 37:4; 63:1-8.
Proverbs 15:33; 25:15.

That's my mail to you, this day.

Great Bible study. It addresses what we all seek, a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior. Nice work!
