Trust in God in the Midst of a Storm
Sometimes God quiets the waves
And calms the angry sea
While other times the storm gets stronger
And my father touches me
Calming my doubts and my fears
Wiping away my stress and tears;
I watch the waves as they roll
Trusting that God loves me
And is in control.

Sometimes in life we face difficulties
That could overwhelm us and make us fearful
Things that drain our joy
And make us sad and tearful.
God wants us to trust in Him
To read His Word and pray
And as we seek to do His will
He will draw us closer to Him each day.
Just as little children grow
And rely on their parents to guide
God wants us to grow in Him
And He will never leave our side.
You would not be content
To stay as a baby forever
While some stay a child in Christian growth
Content to be a grown up never.
Look up to God and Praise His Name
Ask Him to come into your heart-
For the Holy Spirit to live inside you
He will be your comforter and friend
Who in His love will guide you.

God Hears Your Prayers
If you are feeling sad and weary,
Please do not despair
For God above looks down in love
And He will hear your prayer.
It may not come as a thunderbolt
Crashing through a sky of blue
But He who hears our thoughts and prayers
Will have an answer for you.
