Today as well as before in days of past
That ignorance of discrimination of folks
Unfortunately still is often cast
Why for once
Can't it just be
You give these folks a chance to shine
Treat them the same as for you and me
So what if they're a little bit different
From them one can learn alot
It's of their true being
That's their gift to share with us
Let's take the chance, give them a shot
God Created US ALL WIth LOVE in mind
Yes along the way he gave specific challenges
With determination and mission in kind
Some are here awhile and some only for a spell
But to sum it all up
They've a story to share and tell
The day I shall embrace with Grace
When ALL will come to realize
We are EQUAL indeed
Of God's Eyes...

You tell it sister!

One day...after the Lord had opened my eyes, Jody (fiance') and i went out to dinner.
Over dinner holding hands i realized something was quite different as i gazed into her eyes.
She asked me why was i looking at her that way, i told i'd never seen anyone so beautiful in my entire life, looking at her now with new eyes as if there were an aura surrounding her. She asked: "am i glowing?"
I responded: "there was never anything wrong with your glow or anyone else's, everyone has a glow...i just couldn't see it before now." I can see that they glowed too everyone i ever knew before you, deep inside sometimes well hidden, we all do.
