Children Who Wait By Scott Newport
Not so different than me On this tree Grasping on to life We wonder
The wonder of Next days And next Afternoons
Cold winds Blow us ‘round Twisting and turning On a brittle stem Weak but Still alive
Autumn is a word I’ve heard by those Who have passed- Underneath these Low hanging branches
I’ll hold on for One more day Or till I see the Others who have fallen Are no Different than me

Makes me sad to think children go throught such mind wrenching thoughts. From them we can also learn. Thanks for sharing this

You have a great talent for mixing art, nature, and the human experience together to paint awesome pictures that we can either relate to or learn from. Beautiful piece!
