Heaven is for Real!

I just read "Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo. It's pretty good. It's about a pastor's child who got really sick and ended up in the hospital in surgery. He talks about having seen family members and Jesus and talking to them. His family would often point at paintings and other renderings of Jesus' portrait, however, he always said that they did not look like Him. Then one day, they came accross a painting that a little girl painted, who claimed to have seen Jesus, and little boy said that her painting was what Jesus looks like. There's a picture of the painting in the book.

This book was very inspiring to me and in Colton's trip to heaven he met a sister who was never born ( this is one of the reason's his parents believed him). A couple days after reading this book God sent me a dream where I had three children ( I only have two sons ) the baby was a little girl. When my wife and I were young we murdered our unborn child by having an abortion, I always felt this child was a girl. I have felt guilty since for doing what was the more "convenient" thing. God convicted me that night He sent the dream, but He also gave me a gift. Because of Colton I now look forward to meeting my daughter in heaven and get the chance to ask forgiveness.
