Treasure Today

In these troubled times I do not know
Just how the world will go.
But in these times of tests and trial
I will be true and faithful all the while.
To my Lord and Creator
Who is the reason for my smile.
Troubles may come to me-
Some once thought to be my friends
May come and go,
But those who will stay by my side
Are the ones I truly know.
To my friends whom I love -
My friends both frail and strong,
I will love each one of you
Until this earth is gone.
I will be true until again we meet
On that Heavenly shore
Where I'm sure dear ones
I will love you even more!
