God bless those who have lost their parents
And are thinking of them today
Bless those who have lost a child or spouse
And brush their tears away.
Bless those who never knew
A mom or dad here on earth
Not nurtured by their dad-
Nor held by the mom who gave them birth...
Let them know they're never alone
That You are always beside them
No more than a whispered prayer away
With arms outstretched to guide them.
Bless those who sit by the bed
Watching loved ones in pain
Those who long to see child or adult
Smiling at them again.
Bless us all as we go about the day
Each one has trials to go through
Lord, help us each to have strength to carry on
And we will give the praise to you.

Amen! Our parents are so important to us. I feel so blessed that I still have mine, but there will inevitably come a day when I don't. I dread that day.

Times may get rough
The going may get tough
So I can't stress enough
Make special memories
With one another,
Mom, Dad, Sister and Brother.
Use the time you have right now
To share your love with friends and family
For love is the one thing
We can take with us into eternity!
