I love God
I love my country
I love freedom and liberty
Every breath I take is in thanksgiving
Of what God has done for me.
I thank Him for my country
My friends and family too
And for the opportunity
Of knowing folks like you.
God help us keep our freedom
With our flag flying high and proud
Let us never have to whisper our allegiance
But let it always be out loud.
Let no one, not foreign or internal
Take away what we hold dear
Let no one convince our country
To give in to a national fear.
Expose those who seek to harm us
On foreign soil or our own shore
And the harder they work against us
Make us stronger all the more.
Lord, speak to the hearts of those who love You
Fill their spirit with Your peace
And let that flag that waves over our country
