,The Ola Olutayo Mail.
Today 14-8-12.

Forgive Me!

"Like many water falls I cry,
Like something deep inside has died;
Oh the hurt, the guilt, the pain,
To know I broke Your heart again.
And like a hurricane that blows,
A thunderstorm inside my soul;
So can you speak unto the wind,
And renew my life again?
Forgive me, I have sinned;
I am guilty of the nails that pierced Your hands,
Oh I'm crying out, purify,
Rid me of this guiltiness I feel inside;
I'm begging please forgive me.
- - - - - - -
I can't describe what's in my soul,
I feel ashamed to let You know;
Oh the burden, oh the weight
That I've carried from that day.
But You were there, You saw it all,
Every detail, great and small;
And yet You love me just the same,
And You remind me that You came;
Lord You came to
Forgive me, I have sinned;
I am guilty of the nails that pierced Your hands,
Oh I'm crying out, purify,
Rid me of this barrenness I feel inside;
I'm begging please.
- - - - - - -
Create in me a clean heart;
Renew my spirit too.
Restore to me joy,
real joy.
Make me more like You, more like You, yeah!
Forgive me, I have sinned;
I am guilty of the nails that pierced Your hands;
I know I'm guilty, I'm guilty.
But when I cry out,
You purify
And heal me of this brokenness I feel inside;
And faithfully, You hear my plea;
You faithfully, You forgive me.
Jesus, You forgive me."

Though the above writing are lyrics of Nicole C. Mullen's song, 'forgive me', I thought you should know in addition, why Jesus came:
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins."
This is Matthew 1:21, spoken of an angel.
But let's hear Jesus' side of the story in John 12:27:
"Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour..."
You know, I wouldn't be writing this to you if it doesn't matter. But because it does, really, I feel a sense of urgency to do it. I feel that someone -you-, need to be reminded of Jesus at a time when we've forgotten why He came.
We fail to incline ourselves to a depth of insight; we know not why Jesus said, "...do this in remembrance of me..." in I Cor 11:24.
Many of us, though seek for healing, but disregard the Healer. We seek treasures and pleasures but fail to 'remember', to 'remember' that He has them all at His right hand! In fact, let's read that passage to ourselves:
"You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Psalm 16:11.
From the passage, remind yourself, where does joy come from? What is at His right hand?
We sing a song, quite common now, but let's find out something:
Here is the song:
"There is something that makes me come into your presence, my helper."
Sure you've heard it.
But may I ask, what, REALLY, makes you come into His presence?
If we search the heart of many, we'll find out that they remember God for money, pleasurable things, etc, and those are what draws them to His presence. But I don't know about you, there's this JOY incomparable,
the JOY bountiful,
the JOY unspeakable,
the JOY complete,
the JOY to know I'm forgiven,
the JOY to sing His praise,
the JOY to call Him Father,
the JOY to know He is Jehovah my provider,
- see, the worst thing anyone can realise is not that they have no food or money, the worst to realise is that you are alone; but there's this JOY that reminds me, saying: "never will I leave you; nor will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5b...
And for that, that JOY called JESUS, is why I come into His presence! What about you?
Don't join the crowd, but rather move with His cloud! Remember, he who follows a crowd will not be followed by 'a' crowd!
So remember Him; read about Him; remind yourself of who He is...
See, Jesus knows things ahead. He knew that people will forget; and so we have forgotten! We follow doctrines, not Christ. We follow 'men', not the Creator of men. We listen to fabbles not the Truth; we delight in celebrity not in spirituality. So then our hope is lost! Why? God seeks for worshippers of spirit and truth, not ceremonials of men and their doctrines!
God is spirt, His ways are higher than that of men, so let's find out those ways and follow!
And today He says, 'remember me'...
Here is the key that I give to this mystery:
God 'says' His 'ways'.
You see that?
Pardon my use of grammar, but it was deliberate so you could SEE! So go for what Jesus says!
Decide, that nothing else moves you to His presence than for the JOY of what He says!
With this, you will remember Him for His words more often!
I pray, however, that He who started this work in you, will fulfill it, so that whatever He says to you, you will DO!
Go to Hear, Decide to Do, You are alive!
I love you with the love of the Lord and I wish I could speak on and on... But I release you to Go and Do!
God Bless!,
