Prayer Warrior

I hear the thunder crash
The pain that burns my heart to ash
Demons hate deep within
Desires drive from hells minions

I see the Lighting strike
I’m thrust into a fight
To live or die
Or taste eternal life
Damnation or creation
Or just another laceration

The wind blows
A fight unfolds
Story’s of the untold
Angles strike
Demons fright
Heed caution in the night

Blistered knees
Folded fists
Eyes closed tight
Breathing deep
I’m here to fight

The fight that’s right
Ill strike with light
With gods great might

I take a breath
Before I re-sight
The words of light
To save us from the night

So join me brothers
Fathers and mothers
With sisters alike
Bow your heads
As angels take flight

Into battle wings spread wide
Glimmering figures into the night
Piercing darkness with heavenly might
These transcendent creatures
Dispatch the blight

Rays of light give way to hope
Satan has lost his hold
Another soul spared from the fire
The lord has sent his squire

Soon the trumpets sound
With peaceful aromas all around
The streets of gold lead me home
Where tomorrow may come to greet me
