Book of Life

BOOK OF LIFE

Life is like a diary that gets written in each day
We who are the living know not what it will say.
What gets written in our book is how we live our life
We can live in peace and harmony or we can live in strife.
When my life is over and my book of life is read
I want everyone to say “just look at what hers said”.
It should reflect my happiness each day
In serving my Lord and Savior in each and every way.
I want my book of life to contain many wonderful things
Love, laughter, joy, peace, contentment, I hope it brings.
If I look through my book of life each day,
I can’t imagine just what it will say.
As we glance back through the halls of time,
Sorting through the memories of our mind,
We can see a portion of what is written there
But only if we dare.
Better take a real good look
And see what’s written in your book!

But hopefully if I can persevere, a happy ending.
