The Real Character of Our Lord Empty

Thank you so much for the reminder list of the facets of God’s character. As I went through the list this morning my heart would jump at the reminders in God’s Word of more truths that would make a particular facet come alive.
“Carpenter” stood out to me...had to think on that one as it seemed to not bring the same understanding to my heart as the others. Thanks for the exhortation to dig deeper.
Blessings, Moni

This Mornings thoughts on “carpenter”

He kept his hands working and out of trouble and made beautiful useful items
A simple trade, taught to Jesus by His earthly father
If a man not work, neither shall he eat.
Humility of the Son of God
The priests and Rabbis all had other trades or skills
He lived as a man, although God
Mankind astonished at the wisdom and authority of the carpenter’s speech.
How does this son of Mary speak with such wisdom...wasn’t he homeschooled, and come on, what has he seen of the world?
Still referred to as....the son of ........Mary....you know...the woman who got pregnant out of wedlock. The infamous “they” never forget things like that.
A prophet is without honor in his own home, family and community
Kind even to the unthankful
Contempt and unbelief stop the work of Christ in our own lives
If those around you do not want to listen to the Good news, find someone else who does.
Jesus was mocked and ridiculed, and despised and spit upon, yet He endured for our sake
