Things Aren't the Same

Things haven't been the same
Since God called you away
The only constant in my world
Is I think of you each day
I loved each day we had together
And I love you still
I hold you so close within my heart

My memories are my little treasures
Reminding me of the joy we shared together
Even though your time here was all too brief
And the length of years we planned was not to be

And missed you so terribly
It made me smile to remember
Just how much you meant to me.
