Pray Today

There are so many people in pain today
So many people who have lost family or friend
So many so tired and weary
With trials that just don't end...
Pray for the folks who have lost ones they love
And for those too weak to stand
Lift up the ones who have lost business or home
Due to the economy being out of hand.
Ask God to show you those who are depressed,
Those who are suffering and in despair
So that you may remember them
In your daily prayer.
Pray for those who don't know God
And are unaware that they can go to His Throne
To seek His grace and forgiveness
And become His very own.
Pray for our country and all of those within
And that our nation would turn away from sin.
Pray for God to send us the leaders
That our country needs today
Pray for leaders who love God
And who for our nation will pray.
Pray that God direct your prayers
That it will be in accordance with His will
Pray as your go about your day
And in evening when your world is still.

For we do not know when our time is over
And God closes our earthly life's curtain.

you said it sister! jody is on the way to pay her respects to a co-worker who passed this weekend (cancer) right now along with other co-workers. life is short!

God bless our country and keep us safe
And keep our nation free
Bring us strong and Godly men
To guide us through this perilous time we're in

At the end of my life When I meet the one
That daily I strive to live for
I will not regret any good I might have done
But will only wish I had done more.
Any earthly pleasures I might not etertain
Will not matter in the least
When I hear the Savior call my name
And any trials I may have gone through
Will seem as nothing, Lord, when I meet You!

There is some grumbling and groaning that comes to mind but i'm reminded of just exactly how Blessed i am and "it" cannot stand!
