You think nobody knows about
All of those tears you cry.
You think you know the reason
But you really don't know why
Those tears just keep falling
On your pillow every single night,
Coming oh so quickly
Once you turn out the light.
Perhaps it is from hurts in your past
Hidden so deep within your soul
That you think it impossible
To get them under control.
But there is One who knows the reason
And He's been waiting all along
To take away your burden
And put in your heart His Song.
He will not push you to come to Him
It must be of your own free will
But He stands with arms outstretched
And waits there for you still.
